Changing the dlp lamp inside your DLP, LCD, or SXRD Rear-Projection television is so easy and simple. However, there are some important things you should know in order to successfully remove and install your dlp replacement lamp in your television.
Below are the items that you'll need:
* Philips head screwdriver * Microfiber cloth * DLP Replacement lamp for tv
Step 1
Switch off your television and wait for about 30 minutes or more just to make sure that the television is cooled off. If the TV is still hot and not cool yet even after your 30 minutes wait, just wait a little bit longer.
Step 2
Now open the compartment where the dlp lamp is located by using a Philips head screwdriver. You will be able to pinpoint the location by finding a small square shaped panel at the back or by the side of your television. Now you must remove the old DLP lamp just by pulling it out slowly. Make sure that nothing is in the way if it appears to be stuck.
Step 3
Use the Microfiber cloth and wipe the area where you removed the old DLP lamp in order to clean off the dust.
Step 4
Open the box of the new DLP replacement lamp and wipe it off with the micro fiber cloth to remove any debris.
Step 5
Gently install the new dlp lamp in the place of the old lamp. Slowly screw the panel back into place on the television. Now you can switch on the television and reset the hours. This have to be done in order to prevent any messages coming on the television urging you to change the lamp.

- Take your time and do everything patiently and slowly.
- If the old lamp is stuck, do not force the old lamp out of the tv.
- Make sure that dust is kept out the television.
